Before we take on any project, we will provide you with an up front estimate based upon what junk is visible to us. In almost all cases, this will be the price we charge. However. sometimes, during the course of the job, something may come up that was impossible to foresee. In those rare instances, we will bring the items to your attention for repricing.
Large items that don't weigh much but take up a lot of space (for instance mattresses, couches) Disposal facilities have a minimum gate rate. If the truck is filled up with bulky items, chances are that the minimum will not be met and we will have to pay the 1 ton minimum price.
Disposal facilities charge us by weight, usually $200/ ton. If your project has heavy items, we will factor the weight of those items into our pricing. For instance, if an item weighs about 50 pounds, you can expect to pay around $17 for disposal of that item.
The amount of labor that will be needed to load your items into the truck. The closer your items are to the truck, the less labor will be necessary.
It takes time and fuel to arrive at the location of your project. Because of this we must set a minimum for every job we take. Our minimum rate is $140. Typically, if your junk will fit into the back of a standard size pickup truck, the charge will be $140.
Some items require special processing and cannot be disposed of at a landfill or waste disposal site. These items require pricing outside of the bulk/ weight factors and are listed below:

Older televisions contain a Cathode Ray Tube (CRT). CRT's contain lead in the glass screens and is considered hazardous waste. These televisions must be taken to a facility which specializes in taking them apart and disposing of them properly. For this reason, televisions must be priced separately.
Gas grill propane tanks must be taken to a facility which specializes in either recycling or disposing of them and must be priced seperately.
Mattresses must be recycled and sent to a proper recycling facility.
